Improved Silent Sling from the IDF Israeli Defense Force.
I ordered this from zahal.org and it shipped really fast from Israel. Took about a week via Airmail. It is wide nylon in olive green with a black IDF logo embroidered in.
The Israelis because of there mandatory service know a thing or two about humping rifles around everyday. Their slings are some of the finest most comfortable standard issue slings in the world. They attach with 550 para cord and the metal hooks are shrouded in fabric so they do not make noise. They also have a small pocket for holding earplugs. The Israelis tend to carry their rifles slung around their necks while in operations, and across their back muzzle down while in civilian areas.
It is interesting to me that Israeli weapons handling is not taught In a field manual rather by the veterans. The officers constantly carry their weapons from day one of basic and the new recruits learn by example in basic training.
